Controvesy controvesy and controvesy!!!!

This morning I had been watching a dreadful final keirin match at the New Delhi Commenwealth Games 2010. Our National pride, Azizulhasni AWANG (the rocketpocketMan) and Josiah Ng were in action trying to earn our first ever gold medal in track cycling event at the games.

The way the race end was joyful to watch. With his small shape, Awang managed to sneak through a paper-thin gap (between NZ and England cycler), squeezing his bike through the melee before a trademark wheelie at the finish line. Josiah Ng also did not disappoint our hope as he finished 2nd. A perfect 1-2 finished for Malaysia!!!! MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!

THEN when the result officially announced, the rocketPocketman has been relegated because of a nudge in the final sprint. The race commissaire decided Awang was guilty of reckless behaviour and didn't give his opponent enough room to race. OUH NO!!!!! What a ridicolous decision!!! It was obviously a neat finish and the controversy is surrounding the track....

Quoting from few fans here in the UK,

"The rules are spoiling the Keirin - the nature of the beast is six men fighting and bumping on the track - keirin means fight in Japanese. The best man won, but now he's not going to get his gold medal and that is a travesty." (Hugh Porter, BBC commentar)

"Awang's relegation is ludicrous. That was THE best finish to a race I have ever seen and the judges should be disqualified. Really disappointing."

It is yet a disappointing decision for our national camp. However, on the upbeat note, Josiah Ng medal colour being lifted to gold.. At least the gold medal is not flying away from our camp...

No matter what, Azizulhasni is a truly warrior.. Hopefully he can recover from this shell-shocked fiasco and storm into a well deserved results in the next event!! COME ON A-WANGGGGG!!!!

make du'a brother...

aOne thing that is in common among Muslim is making du'a... Du'a (دَعَا) is the act of supplication which has been promised by Allah swt to simplify our things and our livings if we persistently seek from Him.

And your Lord says: ‘Pray unto Me; I will answer your prayer. But those who are too proud to worship Me will surely enter Hell, despised.’ (40:60)

When Deboq n me met our humble landlord, Mr Hashim Bayat to pay him our monthly rent, he keeps on encouraging us making du'a for our prosperity in the relationship that we gained since we moved in to the current place. He is such a kind and a modest landlord ever since I stayed in Birmingham for the past 3 years.

the phrase that relentlessly came out from his mouth and a reminder for us whenever we met him. I am really appreciate for his continuous efforts and assistance, considering his age that already reached 65. This definitely will be kind of my precious memory living in the UK. Thank you Mr Hashim and I am definitely praying for your happiness and your health for a well-being life, insyAllah....

its Ryder Cup!!!

Oh yes!!! after the disappointment from the Europe Team in the last outing, Colin Montgomerie's team will have a lot to prove on this occasion. On the upper hand, with the home ground supports at Celtic Manor, Wales and the fact that the American's last won on the European soil was 17 years ago, an epic battle from the both side is at least, being expected.

I might be a little bit discontent without Sergio's appearance this time as he is out of form for the 2009/2010 season, but with 6 rookies on the Europe's team sheet will bring much more excitement and hopefully an energetic performance is anticipated.

With the team is mixtures of experienced lads (Westwood, Harrington and Jimenez) and rising star to be (Keymer, Mcilroy and Molinori's brother), what Colin's need is to create a much harmony squad and bring the best out of them.. lets kick off the 2010 Ryder Cup with Sergio's dramatic reaction moment below .. hahaha

Finally.....

Today is the day... my final submission of the work that I had been struggling for the past few months.... Alhamdulillah, praise to Him for giving me the strength and will power to complete this piece of work. For my SV, my beloved parents, my siblings, my friends and colleagues, thanks a lot for ur support, ur motivations, ur advices, ur loves and the encouragement throughout my time completing for another significant moment in my life...

I am coming home soon insyallah.... Alhamdulillah and great to be back!!!!

ketuk-ketuk aidilfitri - sekitar rewang majlis raya birmingham...

alhamdulillah akhirnya diberi kesempatan dan kekuatan nak update blog nie... selepas kesibukan selama sebulan lepas dalam menyiapkan dissertatsiku....

Di sekitar majlis rewang komuniti MCIB bertempat di rumah abg Ramlee, Jumaat 17 September lalu

sebelum ape2, breakfast di pagi hari dulu dengan mee sup dan mee goreng sementara menunggu kehadiran stok ayam dan daging....

sesampainya stok makanan, khemah siap dipasang dan para jemaah siap sedia utk bersama-sama potong- memotong, cucuk-mencucuk sate dsb...

majlis diserikan dengan kehadiran bro DR Sani (baru saja berjaya menamatkan pengajian phD nya di UoB). segala kemahiran dan skill diterjemahkan utk menghidupkan api utk bakar sate....

turut kelihatan abg Rizal-baju putih (br smpai di Birmingham petang tue drpd Malaysia utk VIVAnya) mendengar segala pengalaman dan tips dr bro Sani semasa Vivanya.. memang menarik bila kt mendengar pengalaman2 abg2 nie ketika sebelum, semasa dan selepasnya berlangsung VIva tue... antara hidup dan mati, segala kudrat dan penat lelah di bumi asing nie semuanya bergantung pada hari ViVA... tahniah Dr Sani dan Dr Rizal...

ini dia sate-sate yg telah diperap dan di cucuk td... memang MANTAPPP dn besaRR drpd biasa!!! sebanyak hampir 2500 cucuk berjaya dibuat utk majlis raya keesokannya... (ini baru Dun Aston tak termasuk dr pihak Dun Sally Oak lagi)

Special menu of the day - Lamb Steak bakar... memang terbaik dr ladang... Majlis berakhir kira-kira jam 9.30 malam... memang kenangan yg x dpt dilupakan sebelum pulang ke Malaysia...
